Your new team of 10 are a mixed group of Quality Assurance Engineers ranging in experience from a few months to more than four years. Total Quality Assurance means that you get to look at everything. Marketing Campaigns, Web, Advertising, Shrink Wrap and annual software releases of about 10 products with hard deadlines. This is a busy environment with multiple concurrent projects. Reporting directly to the CEO you will be able to have a direct influence over the direction and growth of Quality Assurance within this product based developer of both Commercial and Consumer Software.

• Quality Assurance of new Software products
  
• Responsible for the Mentoring and Career Development of your team.
  
• Liaise with various Managers and a range of Meetings
  
• Business Case preparation and Resource Management
  
• Project Management of multiple concurrent projects
  
• QA of various Beta Projects
  
• Training Management of QA team
  
• Automate regression testing currently done manually
  
• Your Assertive, Persuasive and Negotiating skills will shine.
  
• Possible input into development priorities and specifications

Skills / Experience

• Continual execution of your skills in test strategies, test plans, test scripts, test cases and test data
  
• Good working knowledge of different operating systems and software packages like Microsoft Office
  
• A knowledge of Accounting principles is desirable
  
• Testing lifecycle, test methodologies and an understanding of the SDLC
  
• Good written and verbal skills
  
• Communication skills
